Videogames

The archive has a lot of material on the topic of videogames, ranging from actual playable games in the Console Living Room to numerous videos of games, and much more.

Here are some of the collections:

• Videogame Footage -- around 200 videos, uploaded between 2004 and 2013.
• Videogame Videos -- over 52,000 videos, uploaded from 2003 and still being added to.
• Videogame Replays -- over 7,000 videos (still being added to), described as "Freely distributable replay and demo movies"
• Speed Runs -- over 4,000 videos documenting speed runs (still being added)
• machinima
• Videogame Previews -- around 2,000 videos from two sources (VideoPipeline.com and Kikizo.com) uploaded between 2004 and 2008. (Except for one that got filed in there by mistake in 2015.)
• doom_replays - 5 (yes, only five) videos of the game Doom, uploaded around Jan 2005. (Question to research: Why is this a separate collection?)
