Software Library

From Internet Archive Unoffical Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The Internet Archive Software Library is a series of collections and sub-collections centered around the emulation of software at the Internet Archive using the Emularity system. The vast majority of titles with emulation enabled at the Archive reside here, although there are also three other major collections: The Internet Arcade, Console Living Room, The Business Case, and Historical Software Collection. Items can only be added to the Software Library by an administrator, although functional emulation can be done by simply uploading to the Archive. (Items that are uploaded and contain emulation are automatically moved to the Software Library Contributions collection by a script.)

The Library is separated by machine type, followed by genre of software.
